TukangMan.com helps homeowners in Klang Valley and Ipoh contact contractors. This page explains what information is involved and how it is handled, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
What We Do Not Store
When you ask a contractor for a quotation, your request is written in your browser and opened in WhatsApp on your device. The details you type (area, property, work needed, notes) are not saved on TukangMan servers. They go from your phone to the contractor through WhatsApp.
Information You Send Us
- Contractor applications: name, WhatsApp number, email, company, services, location and experience. These are sent to our team on WhatsApp and used only to assess and contact you about joining.
- Contractor listings: if you are listed, your business name, WhatsApp number, location and services are shown to visitors so they can contact you.
Cookies and Tracking
The public pages do not set cookies and do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Other Services We Load
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) for typefaces. Google may receive your IP address.
- Cloudflare cdnjs (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) for icons.
- WhatsApp (Meta) when you choose to send a message. Its own privacy policy applies.
Server Logs
Our web host keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. These are kept for a limited time.
Your Rights
You may ask to see, correct or remove personal information we hold about you, including a contractor listing. Contact us on WhatsApp using the link below and we will respond as soon as we can.
