Privacy Policy
TukangMan.com helps homeowners in Klang Valley and Ipoh contact contractors. This page explains what information is involved and how it is handled, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
What We Do Not Store
When you ask a contractor for a quotation, your request is written in your browser and opened in WhatsApp on your device. The details you type (area, property, work needed, notes) are not saved on TukangMan servers. They go from your phone to the contractor through WhatsApp.
Information You Send Us
- Contractor applications: when you apply through our form we store your business name, contact name, WhatsApp number, email, region, services, years of experience and any optional CIDB number or notes, together with the time you agreed to this policy. We also keep a one-way hash of your connection to limit abuse; we do not keep your IP address. Our team uses these details only to review your application and contact you.
- Contractor listings: if your application is approved, your business name, WhatsApp number, region and services are shown to visitors so they can contact you. You can ask us to change or remove your listing or your application at any time.
Cookies and Tracking
The public pages and the app do not set cookies and do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Fonts are served from our own site. The app loads its icon set from Cloudflare cdnjs (cdnjs.cloudflare.com), which may receive your IP address.
Other Services
When you choose to send a message, WhatsApp (Meta) handles it under its own privacy policy. Our web host keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting, for a limited time.
Your Rights
You may ask to see, correct or remove personal information we hold about you, including a contractor application or listing. Contact us on WhatsApp and we will respond as soon as we can.
