1.1TukangMan ("we", "us"), operated by the owner and operator of the website tukangman.com and the TukangMan app, is an online introduction service. We help homeowners find and contact contractors. We are not a contractor, and we do not carry out, supervise, inspect, certify or guarantee any work.

1.2Any agreement, quotation, price, schedule, warranty, payment or work is solely between the homeowner and the contractor. TukangMan is not a party to it and does not handle payment.

2. No Endorsement, Verification or Guarantee of Contractors

2.1Contractors listed on TukangMan are independent businesses. A listing is not an endorsement, recommendation, certification or guarantee. We review applications only for basic completeness and plausibility, and we do not verify identity, licences, registrations, qualifications, insurance, experience, financial standing, safety record or reviews.

2.2We do not guarantee that any contractor is available, competent, honest, licensed or insured, that a quotation is fair, or that work will be completed on time, to a good standard or at all.

2.3You are responsible for doing your own checks before you hire, including asking for a written quotation, references, proof of registration (for example CIDB for larger works) and insurance.

3. General Information, Not Professional Advice

3.1The guides, service pages, checklists, questions and other content on tukangman.com are general information to help you prepare. They are not legal, engineering, architectural, safety, financial, insurance or other professional advice, and do not take your circumstances into account.

3.2Requirements, practices, prices and timelines vary by building, location, management rules and project. Where it matters, obtain advice from a qualified professional. References to laws, registrations or authorities are for general orientation and may be incomplete or out of date.

3.3We do not publish or guarantee prices. Any figure you see or are given is an estimate by the party that gave it.

4. Work Safety and Risk

4.1Building, electrical, plumbing, roofing, working at height, waterproofing, pest control and other trade work can be dangerous. Do not attempt dangerous work yourself, and do not rely on any content on tukangman.com to carry it out. Safety on site and the competence of those who do the work are the responsibility of the people who do and commission it, not of TukangMan.

5.1The photographs on tukangman.com, such as people at work, homes and streets, are illustrative images created with artificial intelligence. They do not show real TukangMan contractors, customers, projects or locations, and no person in them has endorsed the Service. Contractors' own work may look different.

6. Accuracy and Availability

6.1We try to keep information accurate and current but do not warrant that the Service or its content is accurate, complete, current or error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure. Contractor details are supplied by contractors and may be inaccurate or out of date. We may change or remove content or features at any time.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

7.1The Service uses and links to third-party services, including WhatsApp, and other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices or conduct. Messages you send through WhatsApp are handled by that service.

8. Use at Your Own Risk

8.1You use the Service and deal with contractors entirely at your own risk and judgement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TukangMan, its owners, directors, employees, agents and service providers are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost or expense (including loss of money, property, data, profit or opportunity) arising from your use of or reliance on the Service or its content, from any contractor or homeowner, or from any work, agreement or dispute between them. Our liability is further limited as set out in our Terms and Conditions.

9. Your Consumer Rights

9.1Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits any liability or any right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Malaysian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act 1999, or liability for fraud.
